Hello Monday! You were a busy day, a day filled with much activity which included some sewing.
These are my 7 blocks for the sew along I told you about Friday on Sew Mama Sew.
This Friday they will post the next step to create this fabulous project
Today also included many opportunities to let a cranky baby make a mess in the kitchen.
Some days it's just easier to let the baby play with the entire (almost empty) bag of snacks.
It does make him smile, after all, and you can always sweep once he goes down for a nap.
It was also a fine day to help dad work on his outdoor storage building.
A boy is never too young to learn how to use some tools, even if they are plastic tools.
That hammering skill will be useful one day too.
It was a beautiful day full of sunshine, which also means great pictures of baby chicks with their mama.
There is nothing quite like a nice dust bath if you are a hen.
The hen and her brood approved of the new storage facilities.
Last, but not least, it was a perfect day to bake a perfect cake.
Once Upon A Chef posted a fabulous recipe for this French Apple Cake. Indiana and I decided to whip it up and we were so happy we did! Please go straight to the link and check this cake out for yourself. I promise you will LOVE it!
Hey, later this week I will share my laundry soap recipe and a few other frugal tidbits. For now, I will go work on some knitting and hope that Tuesday is as kind as my Monday.
Have a sweet, sweet night!
